Alamagan, Pagan, and Agrihan in the CNMI and the adjacent coastal
waters.

DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 1000 PM CHST...1200 UTC...the center of Typhoon Sinlaku was
located near Latitude 18.4 degrees North and Longitude 144.8 degrees
East. Sinlaku is moving north at 7 mph. It is expected to make a
slight turn toward the north-northeast with little change in forward
speed through Friday. Typhoon Sinlaku continues to move through the
northern CNMI just west of Agrihan, turning more to the northeast as
it passes north of Agrihan Friday afternoon.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 115 mph. Sinlaku is forecast to
continue weakening through Friday.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to 90 miles.
Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 290
miles to the northeast and up to 255 miles elsewhere.

The next scheduled advisory will be issued by the National
Weather Service at 200 AM ChST early Friday morning followed by
an intermediate advisory at 500 AM ChST.
