the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...An approaching low pressure system brings gusts to
gales over the northern half of Lake Huron this morning. This
system also produces a period of rainfall, possibly mixed with
snow over the northern waterways. A brief lull ensues Thursday,
followed by potential for additional gusts to gales over northern
Lake Huron Friday.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING...

.TODAY...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots becoming south 10 to 15
knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then veering to the
west late in the afternoon. Widespread dense fog in the morning. A
chance of rain early in the morning. Rain late in the morning...then
a chance of light rain early in the afternoon.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southeast 5 to 10
knots in the late evening and overnight. Partly cloudy this evening
becoming mostly cloudy.
.THURSDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly cloudy. A chance of
light rain early in the afternoon.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...East winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15
knots after midnight. Mostly cloudy. A chance of light rain early in
the evening...then light rain likely in the late evening and
overnight.
.FRIDAY...South winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest 20 to 25
knots with gusts to 30 knots in the afternoon...then becoming west
15 to 20 knots in the evening. Mostly cloudy. A chance of light
rain. A Small Craft Advisory may be needed.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly cloudy with a
chance of light snow.
.SUNDAY...North winds 15 to 20 knots. Mostly cloudy with a chance of
light snow.
