A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
Lake Michigan from Port Washington WI to Winthrop Harbor IL...

At 431 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 16 nm east of
North Pt. Lt. to 14 nm east of Wind Pt. to 14 nm east of Winthrop
Harbor, moving east at 45 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
