beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A low pressure trough along the
Carolina coast will slowly move E across the area today and
tonight. A warm front will develop over the far N waters early
today then lift N of the area by early tonight. A developing low
will pass N and NE of the area Wed and Wed night while pulling a
cold front E and SE across the region. The front will stall and
dissipate just S of the southern waters Thu as high pressure
builds over the N portions. The high will expand across the
remainder of the waters Thu night into Fri, then shift E late Fri
and Fri night ahead of the next approaching cold front. The cold
front will push into the northern waters Sat and stall by late
Sat, then begin to lift N as a warm front Sat night.
