* WHAT...Widespread lows in the upper 20s, with temperatures falling
  to the low 20s in eastern Box Elder County, the western Uinta
  Basin, and Castle Country and mid to upper teens in the Sanpete
  and Sevier Valleys, west central and southwest Utah.

* WHERE...Most Utah valleys

* WHEN...For the first Freeze Warning, from 8 PM Thursday to noon
  MDT Friday. For the second Freeze Warning, from 8 PM Friday to
  noon MDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
  sensitive vegetation and damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

Drain in-ground sprinkler systems and cover above ground pipes.

...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...North winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 65 mph near
  north-south running canyons.

* WHERE...Lower Washington County including Toquerville, La Verkin,
  Hurricane, Virgin, Shivwits and other towns near the mouth of
  Black Ridge Canyon and the Beaver Dam Mountains.

* WHEN...From Thursday evening through Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property and
  cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for
  high profile vehicles and vehicles with trailers.  RVs should use
  caution at campgrounds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.

Fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe location prior to
the onset of winds.
