...HIGH SURF ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CHST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 8 to 10 feet.

* WHERE...West facing reefs of Pohnpei.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM ChST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A west swell, generated by a westerly surge
  south of STY Sinlaku, will continue to bring hazardous surf to
  west facing reefs through this afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
