The heavy rainbands of Typhoon Sinlaku have shifted north of Guam
and Rota. Lingering showers will be progressive in nature and should
not lead to flash flooding.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Saipan and Tinian.

* WHEN...Through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  -  Typhoon Sinlaku continues to move away from Tinian and
    Saipan to the northwest. rain bands south of Sinlaku will
    continue to bring periods of heavy rain across the islands.

    - Based on microwave satellite estimates and model guidance,
    additional rainfall of 2 to 6 inches is possible for Tinian
    and Saipan.
