...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR NORTH CENTRAL JACKSON, SOUTHEASTERN DUBUQUE AND
NORTHWESTERN JO DAVIESS COUNTIES...

At 432 PM CDT, The rain has briefly stopped. However, another round
of rain will move across the warned area between 5 and 8 PM. This
next round of rain may produce another 1 to 2 inches of rain.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Gauges reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Dubuque, Galena, Asbury, Epworth, East Dubuque, Peosta, Elizabeth,
  Scales Mound, La Motte, Menominee, Council Hill, St. Donatus,
  Centralia, Bernard, Zwingle, Schapville, Guilford, Rice, Graf and
  Massey.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
