...RED FLAG WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM CDT
THIS EVENING FOR EXTREME GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER FOR PARTS OF
CENTRAL KANSAS...

* Extreme Grassland Fire Danger...Will develop this afternoon
  across parts of central Kansas

* Winds...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Relative Humidity...As low as 14 percent.

* Impacts...Any fires that start will spread quickly and be
  difficult to control.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of this fire weather product.
